The Geological Curator’s Group (GCG) is a registered charity, and Subject Specialist Network with Arts Council England. We exist to further the use of geological collections worldwide, and support all who work with them. For more information about GCG and what we do, please explore the contents of this website.
GCG was founded 45 years ago, and we are looking to the future to make sure we remain as relevant and useful as we can be to the modern museum landscape. We have revised our mission and objectives, and would like your views on how we can continue to grow and develop within the geological community, and serve the people who need us, in the best ways possible.
We are running a survey which you can complete online with a series of questions that will help us inform our future plans, and we would like your opinions – whether you are a current member or not. Please also pass this survey on to anyone else who may be interested. It should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.
